iven that there are quite a few people around here who like to live life on the veg, it was only a matter of time before some smart cookie came up with genuinely yummy vegan treats.

As opposed to kale lollipops dipped in carmelised onion hummus with cactus sprinkles.

And that smart cookie is Yvonne, a Greystones mum with a knack for delicious vegan snacks who goes under the somewhat unsurprising moniker of Greystones Momma.

Yvonne is all about guilty pleasures without the guilt.

Here’s the lowdown…

You can find my free-from treats and tarts in cafes and artisan food stores, from Rise At The Cove, Eleven Deli, Buoys Kitchen and Spendlove’s to Kitchen 28, Killruddery, Glovers and Deerstone. As a busy mum of three I keep it local but am delighted to offer a Greystones Momma Take Home Service with free Greystones collection and delivery. I also offer Greystones Momma Catering for larger groups.

I use the best quality ingredients to ensure that all of my treats contain the maximum nutritional content. As a food scientist and having worked in the natural health industry for ten years my passion is food, nutrition and health. You’ll find sweeteners like maple syrup, coconut sugar and fruit, dairy free options a plenty and made with ingredients free from gluten as much as possible to cater for free from and vegan diets.

And, of course, lots and lots of the best quality Callebaut chocolate.
