The old guard were there too, of course, with the Greystones Folk Group another year older, and another step closer to perfect harmony. And was that Bray’s Serendipty in among the throng too?

A fine day was had by all, helped on by a mercifully dry afternoon, as the town’s main street (and that’s what Church Road is, people!) echoed to old Christmas favourites and cheers from passersby.
One of those passersby was, as always, the great John McGowan, who once again captured all the love of the day…
