hen it comes to Valentine’s, is there anything more romantic than surprising your partner with a trip to somewhere exotic?

Whether it’s Paris, Rome, New York or Bray seafront, it’s a jet-setting gesture that’s sure to get the heart a-flutterin’.

Well, you can make that gesture for the grand total of nada by entering a fine Valentine’s Day competition from those crazy lovebirds over at Gino’s Gelato.

We’re talking a romantic sunrise breakfast, indulging in fresh, homemade coffee, crêpes and waffles of your choice whilst the sun rises like a widescreen wonder before your very eyes. Not only that but you get a take-home tub of their award-winning ice cream to smear on one another later that evening (best to avoid the nuts), along with a €100 voucher for Gino’s Gelato.

The initial plan was to host this sunrise breakfast in Paris, but, sadly, the flights were all booked out. Ditto Rome and New York. Valentine’s Day is a busy time of year, after all.

So, this romantic morning love-in will be taking place at Gino’s Gelato on Bray seafront. Which is just as good. If not better, given that the Dart is nearby.
