t’s a wonderful night in more ways than one, when the WH Five Loaves host their great big rock’n’roll party every year.
Well, we hope it’s going to be every year, this just being the second – and already a major success.
Providing the sounds over at the Parkview Hotel was, once again, The Wicklow Man, whilst the good, the bad and the Kilcoolers bopped the night away for a very good cause.
Ringleader Nora Hayden was beaming all night, and sure, why wouldn’t she be, whilst the unofficial guest of honour was Eamonn Brosnan, the wily Windgates wanderer home from England.
Bejiggers, it was like the Prodigal Son returning, as those present remembered the good old days by helping the former Grove boy get into the groove. And made another good old day to look back on while they were at it.
Thanks to the mighty John McGowan for the groovy pics.
And if you’re feeling like your soul could do with a jolt, go check out the great work that WH Five Loaves get up to right here.
