very late December, we try and find the time to round-up another
year in the life of Greystones.
And pretty much every year, we get to somewhere in and around March and give up the ghost.
Which may be understandable, given that we put together in and around 2,000 features on the Guide each year. And going through all of those archive revisions can be head-wrecking, as we clear out the dead wood and link any stories to their past and even future posts.
So, praise be, on December 31st, 2024, after almost two weeks of editing one month a day, we’ve actually completed our month-by-month guide to another eventful Greystones year.
So, kettle on, feet up and teeth out for a wide-eyed, love-fuelled, action-packed 12 months of magic, mayhem and meh…

In the shadow of a shortfall in secondary school places, Greystones Community College announced 48 new desks, Kelly Drains hit another blockage on their ancient mass path squat, and Newcastle’s Danielle Longmore was remembered with a major fundraiser for the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.
